Emmanuel · A Blessing in a Cup
I come from Zhejiang, China. My family, my colleagues, and I all work in a cup factory.
For many years, I handled thousands of cups every single day. They were packed into containers and shipped all over the world. They were practical, durable — but that was it. A cup was just a cup.
Then one day, as I picked up a cup to drink water, a thought crossed my mind:
“What if I engraved Christian elements onto these cups? Would more people — even in their everyday lives — have a chance to think of Him?”
Even if just one more person sees it. Even if it’s just one more reminder. Even if, on a weary morning, someone lifts the cup and catches a glimpse of a Scripture verse, and something quietly stirs in their heart.
At the very least, for me personally, every time I hold such a cup, my faith feels a little more grounded.
It reminds me: the Lord is with me. In the busyness. In the anxiety. In the most ordinary, unremarkable days.
I don’t claim that this platform will change many lives. But I deeply believe that when we engrave our faith into the everyday, that faith also shapes us in return.
This cup is not a substitute for reading Scripture. It is not a substitute for prayer. But it can be a small doorway — a reminder to pause, take a sip, and take in a moment of stillness.
May it bring you peace. May it bring you spiritual nourishment. And may it bring you the strength to walk forward, day by day.
Emmanuel. Amen.
