From Broken to Overflowing — My Selah Story
I used to believe that if I worked hard enough, I could hold everything together. My career. My wealth. My security. I thought they were all within my control.
Then everything fell apart.
I lost my business. Five million in debt. Collection calls from morning till night. Anxiety washed over me like a rising tide, heavier each day. I locked myself in my room, not knowing how to face tomorrow.
And it was in those darkest hours that I suddenly realized — Jesus had never left me.
While I was busy chasing the world, He was waiting. Waiting for me to stop. Waiting for me to turn around. Waiting for me to hand it all back to Him.
So I gave it all to Him. My life. My future. Every burden I could no longer carry.
That’s how Selah was born. It is my reminder — and a reminder for every soul lost in the busyness of life — to pause. To think of Him. To give Him our time. To give Him our hearts.
If you are walking through anxiety, pressure, or confusion right now, I want you to know — you are not
alone. Jesus is right beside you. He has never let you go.
And I invite you to pray with me:
“Lord Jesus, I give You my anxiety, my pressure, my fears — all of it. Please give me peace. Give me faith. Help me remember every single day that You have never left me. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus ChristAmen.”
